Dana Air Co-Pilot Amaechi
Dana Air Co-Pilot Amaechi Obodo was on the list of victims killed in the ill-fated Dana Flight 9J 997 that crashed on June 3rd 2012. Yesterday the man declared himself alive and well.
According to the co-pilot, he was off duty from Friday to Sunday, so was never even on the flight that crash.
Amaechi's condolence message to his co-workers: “I loved them dearly. We were on duty together and it is very unfortunate that I lost them that way. May their souls rest in perfect peace.”
In the spirit of "Who go talk say en mama soup no sweet", the co-pilot defended his working place, Dana Air saying:
“My Airline is the best in the country. I can confidently say that because we are the people that work there. People are just spreading rumours about Dana Air. It is unfortunate it happened that way, nobody could have prayed for it to happen”.
